George’s non-traditional path to business operations has involved studying farm sciencesin Brazil and earning a Fine Arts degree at the University of Massachusetts, as well asworking in the food industry, in real estate, commercial and residential construction,management consulting, and technology services. By the time he was 30, George hadalready worked in, founded, and sold a few startups.</p><p>He believes this path proves that some business fundamentals are true for companies ofany size or industry. The best recipe for success requires maintaining a strong companyculture, streamlining operational systems, and providing excellent communication andcustomer service.
